Overcast conditions clearing at 10.55 am all ready for picnic at 11. Bring sunscreen, your food and the blokart grin. And a blokart if you want. Light 7-8 knt wind is ideal for the "gun and fames". See you there
Russell
Just a reminder to you all that besides your meat, drinks, salad (lights)/desert (heavies) and a chair, you also need to bring utensils and a plate to eat from!
Bring along the family for some fun – we’ve got some entertainment planned that might just amuse you as well and of course the obligatory prizes.
John
It's not a race night, but Ardmore will be open tonight for casual sailing and seeing if we can apply the rules on the track.

We have our annual picnic this Sunday from 11am. It’s early for forecasts but the the good weather should continue with wind for some relaxed sailing and family fun.
This is a great opportunity for for those that aren't active on the blokart racing scene to come along and have a good time. Bring your deuces, shadows and whatever and we'll have some interesting sailing.
For those regular sailors wanting a break from the race scene, just mosey on down for a relaxed day (we've had a busy 2010 with two twilight series, a winter series, NZ Open, North Island Open, Great “Green” Race and two trips to 90 Mile Beach and for some the Australian Open and the Worlds in Belgium. No dial-ups, no handicaps, no weight limits, no sailing classes, or best starts or overlaps to concentrate on.
Also NO CHARGE (it is Christmas after all), and we'll have the club karts available for the newbies to have a go.
Remember to bring a plate,(salads for the lightweights and deserts for the heavies), drinks, some meat for the BBQ, and something to sit on. We'll have the Bunning's tents for some shelter and hot water available.
So on on down to Ardmore Aerodrome, Airfield Road, Ardmore at 11 am-ish and see what blokarting is all about - bring the family, friends and some food!
Look forward to seeing you there,
John
