Turned up to lots of wind and to find we had to share the runway with
.... a plane. In fact quite a few with the warbirds on display and the
prevailing meant they used "our" runway. We waited 40 min for the first
display to finish then it was 3 metre sailing for most with a couple of
2s for the youth sailors. Did a couple of races and then free sailing
before we again left the runway for 30 minutes for the next display. The
sailing was fast and furious with many excursions on to the grass as
some failed to take the corners. Plenty of spectators and some to come
back for a sail when the wind is a bit less. All told a good day
